What name are you answering to? Not the one on your birth certificate, the other one. The name a teacher used once in front of the class, or a partner reached for in an argument, or a hard season quietly stamped on you.In Daniel 10, an exhausted old man lies face down by a river. He is seventy years into exile; he has been praying three times a day for something he now knows he will not live to see, and after three weeks of grief and fasting, heaven has said nothing.
