Episode 118 is here. Of course, Ovi scored #900 and PWHL Vancouver and Seattle got monikers since we recorded, but we've still got lots to talk about including Ryan Kesler and Arthur Kaliyev being the opposite of model citizens, more big contract extensions, lamentations over an already boring free agency period, Matthew Knies twerking, Mitch Love getting fired, and a whole lot of other nonsense. We're back with a new episode in which we dive into the shady dealings of the Edmonton Oilers as well as Michael McLeod's potential new home which is, oddly enough, not a prison. We've also got Kaprizov's new contract, Barkov's bum knee, Jordan Staal, Taylor Hall and Electronic Arts' long awaited move towards state sponsored extremism. It's another episode of a couple people out there's favorite hockey podcast. We've got a ton of random goalie news, including Marc Andre Fleury being not so retired. There's also Kirill Kaprizov's contract, Mitch Love's unknown dark shenanigans, the very well known shenanigans of the Canadian 2018 World Junior team Anze Kopitar announcing his retirement (at some point in the future) and The Athletic once more reminds us that even with anonymity NHL players are still kinda boring. Less so, but still boring. Thanks for listening, everyone!

Hey hey! We're back with more content. It's all your offseason happies with PWHL and NHL drafts, where only one had awkward zoom calls on air. Trophies have been handed out in the NHL and the PWHL and the expansion draft has happened in the latter. We recap both tournaments, some of the big moves in both leagues and wax poetically about Brad Marchand. We also wonder what the hell Dallas is going to do with zero cap room, believe Nastya Ovechkina when she says that her and her husband will only live in the US for one more season, and definitely do not tell you to go on the internet and vote for the upcoming New Mexico ECHL team to be called the Tarantula Hawks (Vote for the Tarantula Hawks, brought to you by Make New Mexico Tarantula Hawk Again.

The playoffs, much like miracles, are all around us. The PWHL has reached the finals, the NHL the conference finals, and a battle between Russian hockey players to see who can be the worst driver, featuring Ilya Kovalchuk and Matvei Michkov, might be just now heating up. We've also got some coaching hires, some GM hires, and you can find out what, exactly, the dumbest thing Jake has done recently is. Thanks for listening and we hope you enjoy!

Welcome to Episode 109. Episode 108 was eaten by Mothman so we're skipping that one to bring you all of our prattling about some guy breaking some other guy's career scoring record, the Stanley Cup Playoffs, PWHL expansion and a wild couple of months for the Rangers. All of this and our usual spate of random digressions. Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening.

It has been a while, so we're talking 4 Nations Cup, NHL Trade Deadline, and Aaron Ekblad, more like Aaron Did an Ekbad, amirite? We've also got PWHL fights, the death of the Canadian dollar and Elbows Up, Canada! Thanks for listening.

Ep. 107: 4 Nations, 1 Cup

https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/pod-public-media-files/2025/2/8/2/5ddea617-7e72-45ec-8b89-614dc4b59816_episode_106_-_final_edit__1_.mp3

Looks like we've got another episode for you all. We lost some audio around the Rantanen and JT Miller trades so you'll have to assume we know what we were talking about and it was just as funny as it was insightful. In things that you can listen to, we talk about Ovi's pursuit of Gretzky, Connor McDavid's malfeasance, (sigh) Tony DeAngelo's return to the NHL, Alex Nedeljkovic's big night, and lots more. Thanks for listening.

We're back from our holiday siesta to bring you all sorts of chunky hockey goodness. We're talking about how the US won its second consecutive World Juniors. We've also got PWHL, lots of talk about drive thrus, Frank Vatrano, skiing inside of NHL arenas, dangerous beer specials, and the suddenly smoldering Detroit Red Wings. Thanks for listening.
