Striving for excellence is something we hear a lot. But how it fits into our everyday lives means different things. As much as this we strive for financial freedom/stability, to have nice things and be the very best at any and everything we do, we lose sight of other important lessons and blessings that we can also view as us achieving excellence, such as blessing somebody through the work we do, whether it be mundane or exhilarating.Share with us your thoughts on this topic, and let us know...

What does excellence mean to you?

How do you go about achieving this daily?

What are some stumbling blocks to achieving this?

What are some solutions for this? happy Sunday everyone! Let's wrap up the weekend with some reflection on Psalms 34:14, which reminds us to seek peace and pursue it consistently; how so? By departing evil deeds, sins, attitudes etc. This isn't a simple, quick fix process, especially since bad habits can be built from these 'ways', David is referring to in this passage. So when hearing this, be encouraged to discuss with friends or people you trust, ourselves here from the VP, and above all to God about what how to go about starting afresh, and walking down the path to righteousness. It's never easy, but worth it. God bless you all.

Talking about scripture. The specific focus for now is on the verse of the day (VOTD) that you can find on the Bible App. And today we dive into Jeremiah 29:13. So please pick up your phone, iPad, or even better your actual Bible, and join us as we discuss how we can truly seek God and what He wants for us, amidst the distractions that we face all the time. God bless you all.

What's good everyone! Our second guest for this season, a familiar face too! Mr Michael Robert. We had a very deep chat with him around a year ago, check that out via our Spotify link below. In today's episode, we brought him on to talk about his year thus far, musically, spiritually, and also his life after graduating from university. A gifted young man, being a messenger with his gift and using it to bless and help others in one way or another. A man that's under the radar, but with the consistent heat he's been dropping will hopefully see more and more big opportunities to come! We hope you enjoy this one.Mike's music & socials:SPOTIFY | https://open.spotify.com/artist/3Z6gB...IG | https://www.instagram.com/m1kerobert7/

Today's episode was recorded around early September, so we touch on a few things that were trending or important to mention at that point, but the main course of this episode for you to all reflect on is dealing with comparison. We've all been there and still fight those thoughts and feelings of either inferiority or superiority to others, but we don't and shouldn't have to think that way, because your race is YOUR individual race - whatever race it is you're running. In light of a video we saw on TikTok about life in the US being better than the UK, we thought we'd bring that to the pod, and have a brief discussion on what we both think about life here and how different factors, such as COVID, faith, culture, and values have played a role in the quality of life in the respective countries. For any viewers who've spent some time overseas and also in the UK, let us know what your thoughts are. The differences, similarities, and even where you prefer!

DISCLAIMER:This was filmed around the beginning of August, so some of our takes, predictions or even events within sports themselves may have happened or changed since, as sport is always quickly unfolding new things after the other. Do you have any "under-the-radar" sports you may like watching besides the obvious in your country/culture? Do you feel as though more has to be done via marketing/media to give that sport (whatever it may be for you) the recognition it deserves, and if so what actions can be taken? We're here to make a case for track & field, its attendance issues, how they can be fixed, as well as diving into other sports - our predictions for the Barclays PL this season, and also Dez spreads some hope to his fellow Cleveland Cavs fans, as they managed to win the summer league and are hoping for a good season ahead. All this and more to be discussed, so wherever and whenever you're listening to this, we hope you're entertained, informed and blessed by this episode.Have a great Sunday all!

Today we've got our first, face-to-face guest of the new season! Get to know is back. If you've been keeping tabs on the pod for some time, you'll know that we were bringing on guests almost every week, so it's only necessary we bring back more guests for this new season. Fresh faces, fresh perspectives, great insights and hopefully impacted listeners. Tyler Panton is a sprinter in both the 100m and 200m and has represented his club and country in the sport at 20 years old. He's come on to not only share his story of transitioning from football to track but also to share insight into how he is able to achieve and demand more of himself and have fun at the same time. His messages amongst many in this episode are to express yourself, not take things TOO seriously, and teach others what you've also been taught. We hope to see him succeed in the future and for his elite trademark pose to be part of the worldwide track culture soon 😅 if you don't know what we're on about, be sure to follow his socials, linked below, to follow his journey more!Tyler's IGhttps://www.instagram.com/tylerpanton/
