Welcome to Sightlines. This is a podcast where we try to understand today and reimagine tomorrow. My name is Anthony Sosa, my co-host is Brandon Bond. I represent the historians and a longue-durée perspective, and Brandon represents the Foresight discipline and futurist perspective. Together we ponder the present by discussing possible pasts and possible futures. Learning from each other, and our listeners, we hope to provide a digital and mental space to imagine a better future.

In this episode we introduce ourselves and our aim with the podcast. Then we discuss social theories, the role of narrative in our lives, the trajectory of AI, the mediasphere here in the US, among many other things.
