The boys are back to talk about a comedic duo that is fairly new to all of them, Nirvanna the Band! Chris brought this one to the show, but now he, Mikey and Dave are obsessed with 2025 time-traveling mockumentary, Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, and the television series that preceded it. It truly has taken up the majority of their text chain. And for good reason.

Both the movie and the show are on Hulu right now and it probably doesn't even matter which order you watch them in. Either way - it's fantastic. So stop sneaking around and go check it out - and then listen to these guys gush over this surprising little Canadian masterpiece.

Oooh, and it's alright and it's comin' on! We gotta get right back to where we started from! Yes, Chris, David, and Mikey gotta get right back to talking movies! Another we recorded quite a while ago, but lazy Mikey took forever to finally get it out to you! But you know what - it's worth it to hear us laugh our asses off over the 1977 comedic classic, Slap Shot, starring the great Paul Newman!

And as usual, Chris does the plot. Mikey does the editing. And Dave? DAVE'S A KILLER!

The horror. The horror! The horror of David's audio in this episode is beyond compare (so apologies in advance). As Chris and Mikey respectfully are in their home offices, David took it upon himself to attempt to participate straight from Bar25 NBPT in Newburyport, MA. The legend is that the bar took that name based on the maximum age of the females Grandpa David creepily tries to meet their on a much-too-frequent basis. Actually, don't blame the bar - it's a nice place. It's their clientele that bother me. Well one customer specifically...Mikey did his best to filter out the noise, and he and Chris did their best to talk about the 1979 Francis Ford Coppola Vietnam War classic, Apocalypse Now. David...Well he had a good drink that night at least.

Mikey wrote this and wants to remind you to not feel bad about those awful(ly true) comments because there is a zero percent chance Dave will ever see this.

This podcast first covered a Paul Thomas Anderson film back in September 2024. It took us over a year and a half to go back to PTA for a second time.

It's taken us only a month (and one day) to go back to him for a third time as Mikey, Chris and Dave discuss the 2025 Academy Award winner for Best Picture, One Battle After Another.

But we didn't need to call in a Grey Hawk 10 - because we didn't have to deal with Comrade Josh. Instead we got to call in Christopher's oldest brother, Comrade Jon who is returning to the show for the first time in almost three years!

But don't worry, we don't ignore that Luc Besson might be a bit of (or more than a bit of) a creep...
