One year after surviving a physical assault, Terra reflects on what healing actually looked like after the visible injuries began to fade.

In this deeply personal episode of Still Chosen: The Bold Believer Podcast, Terra shares the physical, emotional, spiritual, relational, and financial effects of surviving violence; the difficulty of remaining quiet when she wanted to scream; surgery and recovery; rebuilding her strength; and learning that healing isn't always linear.

She also revisits a text conversation from August 18, 2025—just two days before the assault—in which she told a brother in Christ that she felt an unexplained "shift" happening in her life. Looking back one year later, she reflects on discernment, slowing down, listening to God, ending a fast earlier than expected, and the things we sometimes recognize only through hindsight.
