A JOURNEY TO CONQUER REMORSE

Words Never Spoken. Actions Never Taken.

In a time when we all relish more hope in our lives, this new faith inspired Fiction Novel by author, Forrest W. Fairley, explores the one thing we all at some time in our lives have or will experience to varying degrees; that being the emotions of Remorse and Regret.

A young man stands at the grave of someone in his past that saw something in him that he did not even see in himself. Yet somewhere along his now successful career path, he forgot this person who literally lighted his life path that guided him to his now successfully published life as New York Times Best Seller.

He stands helplessly with the teardrops of rain falling down upon his high school instructor and mentor's steel casket. He looks up at the statue of Mary in this postage size cemetery and is convinced that she is looking down on him in pity for his past actions of never returning once in over 25 years to thank the one person who guided him toward his success.

His soul fills with remorse and regret and like a cancer it eats away at his soul. His collapses drenched in a despising mess hating himself and what he did.

He knocks on doors now that will never open. However, someway and somehow he decides he must find a way to resolve and conquer this mistake in his journey to overcome the remorse he has now as a permanent resident of his very being.

And, as he starts on his journey, he quickly discovers so many twists and turns to such that it changes his life for ever. It is not at all the journey he anticipated traveling.
