When the reclusive author behind those books resurfaces with a brand-new title and an invitation to compete for the only copy, Lucy jumps at the chance because winning could mean everything for her and the seven-year-old boy she's trying to adopt. Think Willy Wonka vibes, a slow-burn romance, and a love letter to the books that shaped us.
