Some games are bad. Some games make you stop, put down the controller, and ask one simple question: why did this get dev'd? Every episode breaks down a game or feature so spectacularly misguided that the real story isn't that it's bad — it's that someone, somewhere, looked at this and said "ship it." We dig into who made it, what they were thinking, how it made it past every checkpoint, and what it can teach us about game design, the industry, and the beautiful chaos of creative decision-making. Hosted by a gaming industry veteran with nearly two decades behind the curtain, this is part roast, part autopsy, part love letter to the medium. Equal parts comedy and genuine analysis — because the best disasters are the ones worth understanding. Got a game or feature that haunts you? Submit it at whydidthisgetdevd.com — your pick might become an episode, and you might end up co-hosting it. New episodes weekly.
