MAGA Needs Religion For Midterm
28m | Nov 1, 2026For this Sunday Special, we're asking a big question: can religious groups and Turning Point USA actually deliver another win for Trump and MAGA? The answer is complicated. On one hand, you've got a powerful infrastructure. Conservative evangelicals have fused faith with political activism, and groups like Turning Point USA have built a massive grassroots machine focused on low-propensity young voters . But there are real cracks. Turning Point is already looking past 2026, with its leadership explicitly vowing to push JD Vance for 2028 . Yet, internal MAGA divisions and slipping support among young men over issues like the economy and foreign policy threaten that coalition . So, the machinery is there, but the enthusiasm might be fraying.
