HOLDING SPOT FOR HACKRIDE STUDIO FUTURE SHOWS

"Unboxing Riley Martin" chronicles the bizarre, unforgettable saga of Riley Martin—Howard Stern’s most delusional (and endearing) UFO prophet. For decades, Riley hijacked the Stern Show with tales of alien abduction, interstellar welfare scams, and his self-published Biavian Bible, a book only he (and maybe a few Sildarians) understood. This podcast exhaustively catalogs every on-air moment, from his early ’90s debut—babbling about spaceships shaped like “two turtles copulating”—to his later years as a tin-foil-hatted merch mogul peddling “Biavian” wisdom to skeptics and suckers. Riley’s genius wasn’t just in his absurdity; it was his unwavering commitment to the bit. Whether he was feuding with Artie Lange over “space copyright law” or claiming his alien overlords stiffed him on royalties, he turned extraterrestrial grift into radio gold. Episodes unpack his cult-like following, nonsensical rants, and the tragicomic hubris of a man who genuinely believed he was the victim… in a feud with literal aliens. A time capsule of Stern’s chaos era, the show lets Riley’s own words—equal parts Shakespearean soliloquy and gas station prophecy—shine. Subversive, strange, and strangely poignant, it’s the definitive autopsy of a career built on Martian tall tales. Subscribe for the full Riley experience: delusions included, tinfoil sold separately.
