Notorious P*dophile SHANNON McCOOLE - The Dark Web Predator Hiding Behind a Child Protection Job

Shannon McCoole was a child protection worker in Adelaide, Australia, trusted to help vulnerable young people. But behind that professional identity, he was secretly running a dark-web child exploitation network with more than 45,000 members worldwide.

In 2014, Queensland Police's Task Force Argos traced McCoole through small online clues, including an unusual greeting, internet forum posts, and information about his vehicle. After his arrest, investigators made a remarkable decision: instead of immediately shutting down the website, they secretly took control of it.

This episode of You Can't Unhear explores the investigation, McCoole's hidden crimes, and the international operation that exposed the network.
