He's also a filmmaker and he and his wife Marcie ran a successful tour company that took clients on horseback rides at famous cowboy spots. Steve is since retired. He's also consulted on films such as Disney's Lone Ranger and Seth MacFarland's A Million Ways to Die in the West.

It's one of those books that's difficult to put down. Kevin was born in Arizona and moved to Wyoming after college. He's worked as a farrier, a back-country tour guide and a cowboy on a ranch.
