In this episode, we revisit something that we spoke about in episode 5 - Ananiah and Sapphirah. This couple cut themselves off from the nation of the fathers and more unfortunately from the most High who created them because of covetousness. 

What we glean from the scriptures as we build up to this is the importance of a family structure according to its proper order AND upon righteousness. Righteous men, leading righteous women under the righteousness of the law of AhaYah; so to all brothers; be cautious who you allow to be in your bed.  

"O ye men, it is not the great king, nor the multitude of men, neither is it wine, that excelleth; who is it then that ruleth them, or hath the lordship over them? are they not women?" 2Esdras 4:14

Start families in holiness, from marriage all the way to child-bearing. Prove all things, including the heart of the person with who you walk with. If you are both holy, your marriage will be in peace. Except the Lord builds a house, they labour in vain that build it. 

Hebrew Ahshar and Deacon Manatazach pick up from where they left off. There is unfinished business regarding covetousness because Achaan and Ananiah are only a scratch on the surface of the monster we call lust.

Are you aware that a whole multitude of our fathers where destroyed in the wilderness because of murmuring against the most High? Do you know why? You guessed it! Covetousness and Lust!

This is where this episode is going, an analysis o the lust that angered the most High and killed so many in the book of Numbers. Let us all learn from them so that we do not repeat after them.

In this episode Hebrew Ahshar and Deacon Manatazach go further in their discussion about holiness, however, with a particular focus on the coveting.

Typically, covetousness and the love of the world system are joined by the hip. The intention is to study cases in scripture which provide examples of that we may learn from to avoid past mistakes.

In this episode we look go back to the period after the exodus during the conquering of Canaan, when Achaan sinned by stealing a Babylonish garments and silver.

This is the last part of our particular focus on holiness. We conclude by summarising our key takeaways from the first three parts and wrap the episode up by discussing feedback from one of our brothers.

Continuation from Episode 2. We talk about separation from the world and discuss about being set apart from the way the world operates.

The objective is to give a few practical examples of how to not be conformed to this world and looking at the spirit that controls those who are not under the law. The be able to live a holy life there are specific fruit of the spirit that is required; amongst other love and joy in the word and commandments.  

We clarify the requirement to walk after only one manner of spirit, either the Spirit of the Lord or that of the world, understanding that the scriptures does not support a doctrine of walking after both. In fact, the scriptures command us to mortify of destroy our works of the flesh.
