- Unquiet Realities: Trailer 01
155 seconds.
Still not enough time to explain any of this.
Unquiet Realities is a cinematic documentary noir audio series exploring paranormal folklore, UFOs, ghosts, cryptids, lake monsters, haunted places, witness accounts, and the strange things people carry home after encountering something they cannot fully explain.
Mysteries can pull people toward folklore, philosophy, physics or questions reality may not be prepared to answer.
Some stories ruin a good night’s sleep.
Some follow people for decades.
Some wait quietly at the edge of the road until somebody finally stops long enough to listen.
Real places.
Real histories.
Real people.
Hosted by Winchester

S1E1 - 2m - May 18, 2026 - Episode 1 — Lure of the Unknown
Not everything experienced fits inside explanation.
Unquiet Realities begins here. Episode 1: Lure of the Unknown is Part 1 of a four-part cinematic nonfiction arc — the intended starting point for the Season One experience.
The episode opens in the dark, with Winchester seated in a purportedly haunted dungeon, reflecting on a life spent following the strange roads between folklore, witness, history, and doubt.
Lure of the Unknown is an origin story — not about certainty, but about curiosity. Childhood maps, old mysteries, haunted places, back roads, and years of unanswered questions all lead toward the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin, where witnesses have long spoken of something moving beneath the water.
This is not a proof show. It is a witness show. The question is not only whether monsters, ghosts, or unexplained encounters exist. The deeper question is what happens to a person who keeps returning after certainty fails.
Season One follows real places, real accounts, field investigation, strange history, and atmospheric storytelling through a four-part limited series.
Two trailers are also available for listeners looking for a shorter way into the series.
Built for the quiet hours, long roads, and the part of the mind that still looks toward the dark.

S1E1 - 41m - Aug 6, 2026 - Unquiet Embers — Episode 1: The Mine
Not every story needs an investigation. Some just need somewhere to sit.
Unquiet Embers begins here.
A quieter companion to Unquiet Realities, Unquiet Embers gathers the stories, memories, folklore, strange histories, field notes, and unanswered fragments that don't require a full expedition — but refuse to disappear.
Hosted by Winchester, these shorter episodes trade the open road for something closer: a drink, a chair, a little firelight, and whatever story followed us home.
Nothing happened. That was part of the point.
The first Ember begins in Arizona, with Winchester standing on weathered boards above an abandoned mine shaft and a drop measured in hundreds of feet.
Earlier that day there were haunted hotels, old mining exhibits, local stories, and the familiar machinery of places that have learned to live with their ghosts. But away from the tourist path, the mine offered something simpler: wind, heat, gravity, and a hole in the earth where people once trusted wood, rope, and muscle to bring them home.
No voices. No shadows moving in the dark. No evidence demanding an explanation.
The Mine is about the quieter side of following the unknown — the places where you stop, pay attention, and sometimes leave with nothing more tangible than a better question.
If Unquiet Realities is the investigation, Unquiet Embers is the vigil.
Shorter stories. Strange places. Memories that never grew large enough for a full investigation, but never quite disappeared either.

S1E2 - 1m - Jun 5, 2026 - Episode 2 — Ghosts of the Water
This is not a proof show. It is fieldwork, fellowship, folklore, and persistence carried across open water.
In Episode 2 of Unquiet Realities, Winchester continues the Lake Pepin expedition with Keel, Wizard, and Summerwind, following the old serpent stories into the living current of the Mississippi.
What begins as a lake monster hunt becomes something stranger and more human: old reports rising from the archive, skeptical locals at the pub, witness accounts, false alarms on open water, natural explanations that do not quite close the door, and companions keeping watch beside a mystery that may never surface.
Ghosts of the Water is about the labor behind the wonder — the unglamorous, unpaid, half-ridiculous, half-dangerous work of taking an unlikely story seriously. Waves, sturgeon, pike, flying fish, questionable swimming decisions, gear checks, knives, broken chairs, bad motels, too little sleep, and the stubborn belief that some stories deserve more than a smirk.
A portrait of what it means to chase what hides below reflection — and what the river remembers when the rest of the world moves on.
S1E2 - 45m - Aug 6, 2026 - Episode 3 — Curvature of Reality
The Lake Pepin expedition moves deeper into the unknown.
In Episode 3 of Unquiet Realities, Winchester and Keel continue their three-day houseboat investigation on Lake Pepin, bringing underwater cameras, sonar, field gear, old reports, and a restless need to know what waits beneath the surface.
But Curvature of Reality does not stay only on the water.
The episode begins with astronomy, black holes, and the vast machinery of the universe before returning to Lake Pepin, where the mystery begins to bend upward into the sky. UFO reports, strange lights, Upper Midwest encounters, and the uncomfortable overlap between folklore and modern witness testimony pull the investigation into stranger territory.
This is an episode about fieldwork, friendship, exhaustion, preparation, false alarms, cosmic scale, and the moment a lake monster story stops being only a lake monster story.
Not everything experienced fits inside explanation.

S1E3 - 53m - Aug 6, 2026 - Episode 4 — Unforeseen Variables
Some mysteries aren't solved. They're lived.
Unquiet Realities Season One concludes with Episode 4: Unforeseen Variables.
As the Lake Pepin monster tale reaches its final turn, we join Winchester in the modern day, a few days before Halloween, leaning against his black muscle car as river fog swirls below a town once marked by a phantom. From there, the road leads toward a cemetery tied to an old police report involving vampires — and toward a historic haunted inn only a few nights and a few states away.
Inside this season finale are Indigenous oral traditions, frontier folklore, haunted roads, phantom sightings, vampire lore, and the old stories that gather around towns – and water – with long memories.
What began with sonar, underwater cameras, fieldwork, witness accounts, and the search for something moving beneath the surface now widens into stranger terrain. A lady in white appears again and the cliffs carry their own uneasy gravity. Local legend, archival memory, and late-season atmosphere begin to overlap until the investigation becomes less about one creature, one sighting, or one answer — and more about the variables that refuse to stay contained.
Unforeseen Variables is the Season One finale — a closing movement about mystery, doubt, obsession, folklore, friendship, strange history, and the final turn toward a daring rescue that leaves the unknown still breathing.
Some lights don’t explain the dark.
They deepen it.
