1m | Oct 23, 2026It's a B.G.W. — BIG GAME WEEKEND! And Rod Pedersen has a coupla three (or more) thoughts heading into a massive weekend in sports!
🏈 #1 – RIDERS FACE A MUST-WIN!
The Saskatchewan Roughriders need a victory over the Edmonton Elks to secure third place in the CFL West Division. But why is backup quarterback Jack Coan getting the start instead of Trevor Harris? Rod weighs in and shares why he'd love to see Brayden Schager get his opportunity!
🏒 #2 – PATS VS. WARRIORS: EARLY-SEASON SHOWDOWN!
The Regina Pats and Moose Jaw Warriors are neck-and-neck in the WHL Eastern Conference standings, setting up an important early-season matchup at the Brandt Centre. Rod breaks down the rivalry and what's at stake!
⚾ #3 – WORLD SERIES BEGINS, BUT WHERE'S THE COVERAGE?
The Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays square off in Game 1 of the World Series, with both franchises chasing their first championship. Rod questions the priorities of today's sports media and why baseball's biggest stage isn't getting the attention it deserves.
🏒❤️ #4 – REMEMBERING RON DUGUAY
Rod closes with a heartfelt tribute to NHL icon and friend Ron Duguay following his passing. He reflects on their friendship, personal conversations, and the lessons learned from opportunities that can never be recovered.
