Josh reports that the inshore transition is starting, but the bigger speckled trout and redfish have not fully pushed north yet. Shrimp numbers have been strong, flounder reports have been excellent, and legal mangrove snapper are still showing up around structure in the Mobile River, but hot water has kept the fall bite from really breaking loose. He and Nick also talk through why this has been an odd year for bream and crappie, how cooler weather may reset the fishing, and why white trout stacking up in the river should soon provide one of the easiest kid-friendly bites of the season.
