Hey there, loves! In this episode, I'm joined by a close friend who explains in essence what it has been like being a Muslim and having to adapt to Western/European culture. From talking about her upbringing in Syria to immigrating to The Netherlands, she elaborates on some battles she's faced in terms of tradition, religion, social/societal norms, values and self-discovery. She even blesses us with her beautiful singing!
