Bears Found ANOTHER Undrafted Gem?! Jahdae Walker RISES & Caleb Williams Pro Bowl Buzz

The Chicago Bears may have found ANOTHER under-the-radar defensive lineman—and several young players are making serious noise as training camp reaches its final stretch.

On today’s episode of Chicago Bears Central, Haize breaks down the biggest Bears risers from Day 14, the latest official update on Kyle Monangai, some intriguing Pro Bowl breakout candidates, and whether undrafted rookie defensive tackle Jayden Loving could become Chicago’s latest overlooked find.

The seemingly endless left-tackle competition took another turn when Theo Benedet received significant opportunities and impressed while working with the first-team offense. Braxton Jones remains firmly involved, but Benedet continues proving he offers legitimate value along the offensive line.

Then there’s Jahdae Walker.

Walker continues taking full advantage of the opportunities created in Chicago’s receiver room. On Day 14, he made an impact on special teams before hauling in what was described as the catch of the day—a deep touchdown from Caleb Williams during 11-on-11 work. His chemistry with Williams continues to grow at exactly the right time.

Haize also dives into J.P. Richardson, who kept his momentum rolling by finishing practice with a touchdown from Case Keenum after getting a key block from Kaden Davis.

There’s also a clearer update on Kyle Monangai. After suffering a hyperextended right knee, Ben Johnson officially described the second-year running back as “week-to-week.” Monangai rushed for 783 yards at 4.6 yards per carry with five touchdowns during his rookie season, making his health important to Chicago’s plans alongside D’Andre Swift.

Jayden Loving has quietly begun making noise. The Wake Forest product has been winning individual drills, gave second-round center Logan Jones serious problems Tuesday and flashed in limited preseason action with a pressure that contributed to an interception and a batted pass.

The problem?

Chicago’s defensive-tackle room is crowded.

With Gervon Dexter and Grady Jarrett established, Loving is fighting with players such as Jordan van den Berg, Neville Gallimore and James Lynch for limited roster space. The notes suggest Loving may still face an uphill battle for the initial 53, but another strong two weeks could force Chicago into a difficult decision.
