END THE MOFO STIGMA
28m | Sep 25, 2021Harvard Women’s Basketball’s very own, Elle Stauffer, joins us in an organic conversation around mental health. We all know that COVID-19 has given us the gift of time. No distractions, obligations, or schedules. But what happens when you, for the first time, sit down with you? We touch on the formation of our own mental health issues, body image, eating disorders, privilege, disparities, stigmas, and strategies on how to take your power back concerning mental hardship. Elle shares her message of ending the mental health stigma and the actions she took in her own life including being more open with friends, and joining mental health advocate, Victoria Garrick’s, Nonprofit Organization called “The Hidden Opponent”. We hope this episode inspires you to have conversations about your own mental health, and please reach out to your people WHEN you need help. If you can see it, you can be it. Mental Health starts with you.
