Pakistan has several education boards that manage and conduct examinations for secondary and higher secondary education across the country. Currently, there are over 30 education boards operating under provincial and federal authorities. These include boards like the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) and provincial boards such as BISE Lahore, BISE Karachi, BISE Peshawar, BISE Quetta, and BISE Mirpur (AJK), among others. Each province—Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan—has its own network of boards that ensure quality education and standardized examinations. These boards play a crucial role in maintaining academic consistency and fair assessment systems throughout Pakistan.
