Welcome Danilo Gallinari and Malcom Brogdon, the newest members of the Boston Celtics! They acquired Brogdon via trade with the Indians Pacers, and signed Gallinari using their MLE in free agency. Pat and Lucas talk about how they fit so well in Boston, and say goodbyes to some players traded away as well.

Pat and Lucas record as free agency kicks off, but unfortunately the Celtics were quiet to start. The guys cover all the NBA moves and drama that has happened. They speculate over who the team could bring in on the MLE and TPE!

Patrick and Lucas are here with the first official offseason podcast! They go down the rotation and give grades for each player, as well as Ime and Brad. They reflect on the season for each player, and almost everyone (almost!) had a good grade this season! They also tap into some off-season rumors, and look forward to tomorrows NBA draft!

The Celtics couldn’t get past the Warriors in game 6 of the NBA Finals in Boston Thursday night, and the season subsequently came to a close. While the guys fought hard to come back in a game they trailed in, they didn’t have enough to get them over the hump. Patrick and Lucas recap the last couple games of the series, express their disappointment, but also take solace in the fact that a lot of good things happened in Ime Udoka’s first season as head coach.

The Celtics now trail the Warriors 3-2 in a best of 7 series. After losing back to back games for the first time in months, the Celtics have a must win game in Boston. The Celtics have proven they are best with their backs up against a wall, which makes Lucas optimistic. Patrick, not as much. Pat and Lucas whoever do give the Warriors their credit, having been terrific defensively throughout the series. They guys bring their predictions and break down what wrong the past two games.

Pat and Lucas break down game 3 in which the Celtics had a phenomenal win, 116-100 over the Golden State Warriors. The Celtics now have. A leg up in the finals, and a chance to go up 3-1. Pat and Lucas break down what went right and optimistically look forward to game 4.

The Celtics unfortunately fall in game 2 of the Finals against the Golden State Warriors in a game marred by antics and questionable refereeing. However the Celtics only have themselves to blame, committing numerous turnovers, which has become a recurring problem. With almost nothing from anyone not named Jayson Tatum, the Celtics got ran off the court. Everyone has to be better in game 3, and Patrick & Lucas are here to explain how and what went wrong.

Patrick and Lucas are lucky enough to be joined by Celtics Blog’s Adam Taylor! Adam does amazing work covering the Celtics, from X’s and O’s, to personnel decisions and salary cap a management. The three guys have a good natured chat about the Finals, with a few superhero jokes thrown into the mix. Adam gives his game 2 and series prediction and it is sure to make Celtics fans happy!

Pat and Lucas are back from a brief hiatus to cover the end of the Heat series and look forward to the Celtics first finals appearance since 2010! They match-up with the Warriors, who are back in the finals for the fourth time in six years. They get into the advantages and disadvantages, the different things we will see compared to past series, and just how far the Celtics have come this season. Props are given all around to the Celtics and the warriors and then, finally, Pat and Lucas give their game 1 and series predictions.

The Celtics take a 3-2 series advantage over the Miami Heat with a resounding second half effort. In the first half, they were kept afloat by Derrick White and Al Horford, and in the second half their stars brought them home. After poor first halves, Jaylen and Jayson really stepped up and played phenomenal in the second half. The Celtics are now one game away from the Finals, but the job is not finished.

The Celtics dominate in a 102-82 victory over the Miami Heat. Behind the bounce back game from Jayson Tatum, they held the Heat to only 33 points in the first half. Derrick white played an amazing game, and Al Horford was amazing regardless of the fact that he only had 5 points. Pat and Lucas recap the whole game here.

The Celtics cannot bring themselves back from a 26 point deficit that the Heat were able to obtain due to a shocking lack of ball security by the Celtics. Credit is due for the Miami Heat defense, with some brilliant adjustments by coach Erik Spolstra. But overall it was the Celtics shooting them selves in the foot in this game. Patrick and Lucas break it down, and try to be Optimistic about looking forward to game 2.
