• Episode 9- Be More Than Black

It appears that in recent times, there has been a resurgence of supporting everything black:  businesses, education, labor, etc. With this resurgence comes a call for the black dollar to go alongside these black entities. Unfortunately, instead of using this publicity to promote solid small businesses, the attention has only been given to the owners' color without regard to the quality of service. This same reality is prevalent in every industry. Regardless of whether something is good or not or exudes excellence, I, as a black person, am responsible for supporting that thing that a black person runs. Though this message may be well-intended, the primary pushers of this message have entirely forgotten that your service has to warrant the money you seek. Being black isn't good enough, be the best. This episode discusses how this very mindset resulted in events like Howard University, the circus surrounding the Kyle Rittenhouse case, and some personal updates.

  • Episode 8- Hide Ya Ankles Ma

Modesty, alongside submission, has been quite controversial among women in the world and women in the body of Christ. Unfortunately, this topic has created two factions; on one side, you have women with no qualms about exposing their members, while the other women wrap themselves in bedsheets. In this episode, I analyzed scriptures on modesty in hopes the Holy Spirit would illuminate them and aid listeners in applying the scripture to their life.

  • Episode 7- Kwame Brown & COVID

Words. From curses to edification. With the tongue, we praise our Lord and Father, and with it, we curse human beings who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth comes praise and cursing. As a society, we have made idols out of people and turned them into characters; hence, why it's so easy for people to denigrate celebrities because they're talking to a character, not understanding it's a real person behind the mask. Society's failure to understand this truth has led former number one NBA draft pick, Kwame Brown, to clap back at over 20 years of everyone speaking poorly of him. In this episode, I discuss what I took away from the Kwame situation as a whole and the media's agenda. Also, I share my views on the COVID-19 vaccine and the future implications this virus will have on our society.

  • Episode 6- Word of Faith Discussion w/ Alex Price

In scripture, the believer is warned countless times about false teachers, like wolves in sheep's clothing, they come to devour and deceive the Church. Shockingly, there will even be people who rise from the Church, who will distort the truth to draw a following. Fast forward to modern times, and the Church is littered with skinny jeans and motivational speeches. The Bible has been twisted to be a road map to living your best life now. Instead of revealing the God who saves humanity from their depravity. In this episode, I look at the Word of Faith movement with guest Alex Price, and use the scriptures to place things in their proper perspective and extract the redeemable aspects of this movement.
