• At 42, I Realized I Had to Get My Body Game Back

At 42 years old, I had to be honest with myself: I need to get my body back.

This is not about chasing perfection or trying to look like somebody else. It is about rebuilding my health, confidence, discipline, energy, physical presence, and mindset one decision at a time.

I am officially restarting my fitness journey and relearning what “body game” really means after 40.

For me, body game is more than just losing weight. It is taking care of your health, moving with confidence, improving your appearance, getting stronger, dressing better, building discipline, and becoming the version of yourself you know is still inside of you.

The truth is, getting back in shape after 40 can feel difficult. Life gets busy. Bad habits add up. Your energy changes. Progress may be slower than it was when you were younger.

But it is not too late.

I am not where I want to be yet, but I am done standing still. I am choosing consistency over excuses, progress over perfection, and action over waiting for the “right time.”

This is my real fitness restart at 42—and I am documenting the journey.

💬 If you are over 30, 40, or 50 and trying to get your body, health, confidence, or discipline back, comment: “I’M STARTING AGAIN.”

💬 What fitness goal are you working toward right now?

  • 3 Hard Lessons I’ve Learned From Years of Content Creation

In this episode of Let It Be: Legacy, I’m sharing three hard lessons I’ve learned throughout my years of creating content.

Content creation can look exciting from the outside, but behind the scenes it requires patience, consistency, discipline, and the willingness to keep learning. I talk about the mistakes, challenges, disappointments, and personal growth that have shaped my journey as a creator.

Whether you’re building a YouTube channel, growing on TikTok, developing your personal brand, or simply trying to turn your ideas into something meaningful, these lessons may help you stay focused and avoid giving up too soon.

Your legacy is built through the work you continue doing—even when nobody is watching.

    Show notes

    In this episode, we discuss:

    • The importance of consistency over perfection.

    • Why creating content requires patience.

    • The reality of slow growth and delayed results.

    • Learning from mistakes instead of allowing them to stop you.

    • Why improving your skills is part of the journey.

    • The importance of staying authentic while building a personal brand.

    • How content creation can teach you discipline and resilience.

    • Why your work can have an impact beyond views, likes, and followers.

    • What I would do differently if I were starting over.

    • How today’s content can become part of your long-term legacy.

    Episode takeaway

Success in content creation does not happen overnight. Sometimes the biggest progress comes from continuing to create, learn, and improve during the seasons when the results are difficult to see.

    Listener question

What is one lesson content creation—or life—has taught you the hard way?

  • The Labor Day Reset It’s Time To Lock In

This Labor Day, it’s time to pause, reflect, and reset—not just for the rest of the year, but for the legacy you’re building.

In this episode of Let It Be, we talk about taking action instead of constantly waiting for tomorrow, next month, or the new year. Your setbacks, mistakes, failures, and past choices do not have to determine where your life ends up. You can give yourself another chance, get back on track, and become even stronger than you were before.

The reset may involve your mindset, your health, your habits, your relationships, your finances, or the people you allow around you. Sometimes creating a better future requires protecting your peace, removing distractions, and letting go of the things that continue to hold you back.

Your potential was not meant to sit on the bench. The gifts, talents, and purpose inside of you were meant to be used. The question is: will you continue making excuses, or will you finally decide to lock in?

You don’t have to wait until January. Your reset can begin today—and the legacy you leave behind starts with the decisions you make right now.

    Show Notes

    In this episode, we discuss:

    • Why Labor Day can represent a personal reset.

    • The danger of waiting until January to make a change.

    • Giving yourself permission to start over.

    • Turning faith and good intentions into action.

    • Breaking the habit of procrastination.

    • Protecting your peace from toxic relationships and distractions.

    • Taking your health, habits, and future more seriously.

    • Getting back on track after setbacks.

    • Why your potential should not be buried or wasted.

    • How today’s choices contribute to the legacy you leave behind.

    Episode Message

You are not too far behind. You are not disqualified because you made mistakes. You can reset, refocus, and rebuild—but at some point, you have to get off the bench and take action.

Lock in. Start today. Build something your future self and your loved ones can be proud of.

  • What Do You Really Bring to the Table? The Red Flags You Can’t Afford to Ignore

In this episode of Let It Be: Legacy, we challenge one of the most common questions people ask in relationships: “What do you bring to the table?”

The better question isn’t about money, status, or attraction—it’s about character, faith, healing, and purpose.

Before you give someone your heart, ask the questions that actually matter. Do they love God? Are they carrying unresolved trauma? Do their actions match their words? The wrong relationship can cost you your peace, your purpose, and even your legacy.

Guard your heart. Pay attention to the fruit. Don’t ignore the red flags.

Your future may depend on it.

It all starts with you, it all starts with me, so let it be legacy.

  • My Biggest Takeaway from Candace Owens on Shawn Ryan

The recent conversation between Candace Owens and Shawn Ryan has sparked a lot of discussion. Whether you agree with every point or not, one part of the interview made me stop and reflect.

In this episode, I share my biggest takeaway—not from a political perspective, but from a biblical one.

Are we spending so much time fighting each other that we’re missing the deeper battles affecting our lives?

Drawing from Ephesians 6:12, I talk about why I believe spiritual awareness, prayer, and personal responsibility matter in a world filled with division, distractions, and competing voices.

This isn’t about choosing a political side. It’s about examining our hearts, pursuing truth, and asking whether we’re focused on what matters most.

As always, it all starts with you, it all starts with me. So let it be legacy.

  • You Don’t Get a Do-Over: Live Like It’s Your Last Shot

Life is more precious than we realize.

This week alone, I learned of several people I grew up with who passed away. It forced me to think about something many of us avoid: none of us are guaranteed tomorrow.

When we’re young, death feels distant. As we get older, it gets closer. Friends, family members, classmates, and loved ones begin leaving us sooner than we expected.

    So here’s the question:

If today was your last day, how would you spend it?

Your answer reveals more than you think. It exposes what truly matters to you. It reveals your priorities, your purpose, and the things you’ve been putting off for far too long.

In this episode of Let It Be: Legacy, we discuss living with urgency, telling the truth, embracing discipline, learning to say no, and pursuing the life you know you’re called to live.

Because all you have is today.

And the legacy you leave tomorrow is built by the decisions you make right now.

It all starts with you. It all starts with me.

    So let it be legacy.

People often talk about their breakthrough, but most of the time they’re only referring to financial breakthrough. Rarely do we hear people speak about a spiritual breakthrough — yet the truth is, the two go hand in hand.

God has already provided us with everything that pertains to life and godliness. That means what He placed inside of you is directly connected to your ability to break through. Your gifts, your calling, your passion, and your purpose were never accidental.

In today’s episode, we dive into the passion within every listener under the sound of my voice — uncovering the connection between spiritual alignment, purpose, and the breakthrough you’ve been praying for.

  • Purpose Over Perfection: The Plan Doesn’t Matter If You Never Start

In this episode, we’re getting real about purpose, planning, and the one thing most people keep avoiding—starting.

Too many people are stuck trying to build the perfect setup… the perfect brand… the perfect plan. Meanwhile, time is passing, opportunities are missed, and purpose is sitting idle.

I break down why purpose must come before planning—and why planning means nothing without execution.

This episode also comes from a personal place. Sometimes you have to make tough decisions, simplify your life, and cut unnecessary weight just to stay focused on what truly matters. It’s not about having everything—it’s about doing something with what you have.

    We cover:

    • Why purpose is your true foundation
    • How planning without action becomes procrastination
    • The danger of overthinking and waiting for the “right time”
    • How to simplify your life to stay aligned with your mission
    • BONUS: Why the best move you can make today is to just get started

    The Bible reminds us:

“Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3

    You don’t need more time.

    You don’t need more money.

    You don’t need perfect conditions.

    You need to move.

Because purpose without action is wasted potential—and planning without execution is just a dream.
