Can someone please tell me WHY I waited so, incredibly long to read "The Hate U Give"??! OMG! It was fantastic! "The Hate U Give" was written by the fantastic Angie Thomas. "The Hate U Give" is about a young lady named Starr Carter, who witnesses her unarmed childhood friend, Khalil, killed by a police officer. After I did my book review on "Concrete Rose" (another fabulous book by Angie Thomas). I wanted to, and as was asked to read "The Hate U Give" and provide my thoughts on "The Hate U Give". I recently read the very popular YA novel, “Monday’s Not Coming” by Tiffany D. Jackson. OH MY GOODNESS - it was devastatingly incredible!
