“We need to sow not just flowers but also optimism”
33m | Sep 3, 2026Episode 10.
For Geoff, Gisela, and the team at Incredible Edible Sileby, their project is all about collaboration. Starting strong in 2025 with support from the local council, and with a highly-visible site in the heart of the village, the group have a strong vision and plans for what the Incredible Edible model can offer to the 10,000 residents of Sileby. Despite some initial scepticism from villagers, and even a fire that destroyed the groups tools, their visions of harvest days, composting workshops and a burgeoning orchard in the park means the project is becoming a hub for building resilience and connecting with nature.
