#34 BOOKS: Behind the Books | Tumble Trouble and the Real Kenzie

Kenzie is fierce, funny, confident and completely convinced she can do anything—until one stubborn front walkover refuses to cooperate.

In this Behind the Books episode, we’re opening Tumble Trouble, Book 3 in the Cheer Diaries series, and meeting the real Kenzie.

As the Comets begin building their competition routine, Kenzie is certain she should be included in a particular tumbling section. The only problem is that her front walkover isn’t ready yet.

I’m taking you behind Kenzie’s struggle with slowing down, completing the drills and discovering that more power isn’t always the answer. We’ll also explore her sassy diary notes, her letter to her future self and the surprisingly thoughtful pep talk she writes for difficult training days.

Because falling isn’t failing, one bad skill doesn’t erase all the good ones and sometimes control really does beat speed.
