The Nomads of Fantasy returns for Season 8 and the final entry in our Summer of Sequels!

For our 180th episode, we jumped back into Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2, and we had an absolute blast. This is a game that still holds up incredibly well. The controls are fluid and tight, the movement is fantastic, and the campaign constantly finds new ways to surprise you.

What impressed us most was just how much fun Respawn managed to pack into a single-player shooter. Every level feels like it has something different to offer, and the result is one of the best shooter campaigns we’ve played.

We’ve always been big fans of Respawn, and Titanfall 2 is a great reminder of what makes the studio so good at what they do.

Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace took a lot of big swings, and many of them still hold up today. The visual effects and technical achievements remain impressive, especially considering when the film was made. George Lucas did a tremendous amount of world-building, expanding the Star Wars universe in ways that would influence countless stories that followed.John Williams delivered some of his best work in the franchise, creating memorable themes that have become iconic parts of Star Wars. The casting is a mixed bag. Liam Neeson is an excellent addition as Qui-Gon Jinn, bringing wisdom and gravitas to the role. Natalie Portman, however, feels surprisingly underwhelming given her talent.The podrace sequence remains a cinematic spectacle and is easily one of the film&#39;s highlights. Darth Maul and Emperor Palpatine (Sidious) are both compelling villains who leave a lasting impression despite limited screen time.That said, Lucas also introduced plenty of questionable ideas, and that&#39;s before even getting to Jar Jar Binks.
