The door was never meant to be opened.

After the terrifying discoveries beneath Black Ridge Observatory, Ethan and the remaining members of the team are beginning to understand that the strange signal they detected wasn't simply a message from somewhere in deep space.

It was a warning.

As the investigation leads them deeper into the facility, they uncover references to a classified Antarctic installation known as Acheron Station—a place supposedly abandoned decades ago after an unexplained incident.

But the records tell a different story.

Something happened at Acheron Station.

Something the government buried.

And whatever happened there appears to be connected to the strange circular doorway discovered beneath Black Ridge.

Then the team finds an old photograph.

In the background stands a doorway that should not exist.

The same doorway.

The same symbols.

The same impossible architecture.

And written on the back of the photograph are four words:

“We should never have opened it.”

As Ethan begins experiencing memories that don't belong to him, the boundary between the past and present starts to disappear.

And somewhere beneath the frozen darkness of Antarctica...

something is still waiting...
