s16e06 Bombolone | Happy songs with a false bottom
Description: Broadcast on Thursday 29 October 2026 from Madrid to the Adriatic coast via Radio Fragola Trieste (104.5 / 104.8 FM). Season 16, episode 6. Vincenzo builds a twelve-track hour of upbeat, danceable music where nearly every song hides something darker in the lyrics.
The selection moves from Claire Rosinkranz's dancer who is afraid to stay still to Breakbot's devotion, The Avener's rework about "slow growing fear" and Dua Lipa's "Training Season". It passes through new club tracks from Jimi Jules with TRI/XON, JØRD and Chris Lorenzo, Crystal Fighters' four-in-the-morning "Plage", a Kinks classic about the night and SBTRKT's masked producer. It closes with Hot Chip's "Random Violence", a tribute to the late Optimo DJ Keith McIvor and to anyone who spent a life sending songs into the world.
Bombolone is an independent music programme broadcast every Thursday at 14:00 CET, hosted by Vincenzo from Spain.
