Title: Bombolone: Second lives, remixes and the original thing
Description: Broadcast on Thursday 22 October 2026 from Madrid to the Adriatic coast via Radio Fragola Trieste (104.5 / 104.8 FM). Season 16, episode 5. Vincenzo builds a thirteen-track hour around second lives: new releases that have barely begun, remasters, remixes, and the original recording that came before the famous cover.
The selection opens with "Diamanti" by okgiorgio and PARISI, released only days ago, and TOKiMONSTA's recent single "Memory on the Run". It moves through Serge Gainsbourg's 1975 provocation, Skunk Anansie's reunion-era "An Artist Is An Artist" and Joan Manuel Serrat's "Mediterráneo". It then lands in disco and soul, with the remastered "Miss You" by The Rolling Stones, a Breakbot remix of Candi Staton and a preview of Dam Swindle's upcoming DJ-Kicks. It heads towards the end with Gloria Jones and the 1964 original of "Tainted Love", and closes with Alex Izenberg's "Breathless Darkness". Along the way, a short comment on this week's protests across Europe, with a nod to John Lennon.
Bombolone is an independent music programme broadcast every Thursday at 14:00 CET, hosted by Vincenzo from Spain.
