Analysis of a presentation given by Daljit Nagra in 2017 on the topic of his first collection; 'Look We Have Coming to Dover'. Given that my last podcast on Nagra's poetry was from this first book I thought to provide commentary on the presentation, to further give context to my initial comments on the poem 'Digging'.

In this podcast I investigate an early poem by the Faber poet Daljit Nagra, compare it with the poem by Seamus Heaney it was inspired by,, and ruminate on issues of multiculturalism in 21st Century poetry.

Tying up some loose ends from previous podcasts, but also this is a podcast on coming to terms with what mid-century literature in Britain was, in all its ragged subversions. Doris Lessing, Kenneth Tynan, John Osborne, Kingsley Amis, Lindsay Anderson, Bill Hopkins, Wilson himself. I will follow this up with some more research on the background to the 'Declaration' anthology

Commentary on my last year of watching Civic Nationalism finally implode as a movement regarding the immigration problem. This recording will serve as a summary of my year watching content from Nick Fuentes, Academic Agent, Candace Owens, The Podcast of the Lotus Eaters and Steve Laws' 'Remigration Now' debate. The concerns? How indigenous nationalism gets co-opted into mainstream debate on immigration, and how Laws is avoiding it with genuine ethno-nationalist talking points.

In which I follow up on some threads from the previous podcast. I focus on Bill Hopkins' mention of 'The Crusade for World Government', my research possibly connecting it to the Fabians and The London School of Economics, as well as looking at other writers from the 'Declaration' anthology of 1957, most notably Colin Wilson's then-credo; 'Beyond the Outsider'.

Reading of Bill Hopkins' rare article from 1957, in which he expounds his ideas regarding the inherent power of Western literature in contrast to the dearth of valuable literary content at mid-century. His critique involved an almost total dismissal of all modern literature of the twentieth century (as my own feelings concur with that theme as the twentieth century moves into the twenty first century). I will continue my thoughts on Bill Hopkins in a future podcast on his novel 'The Divine and the Decay'.and relate the content of the novel back to this material. A backward glance at the youtube video entitled Calasso's Rig Veda with a very fresh conspiratorial take on Julian Jaynes' theory re; Homer's 'Iliad'. This leads on to some further speculation about the evolution of language, and revised judgemants on the works of D.H. Lawrence and James Joyce through Wyndham Lewis' "Hitler".

Those familiar with my youtube and rumble channels (and even going back to The Fiend beginning in 2010) will know my interest in David Icke's material. Here I attempt to critique some of the problems I have with David Icke's work in detail. The conspiracy researcher (particularly of the boomer and great generations) will have very little knowledge of the Western nationalist movements that sprung up in the West between Ron Paul's bid for leadership and Trump's presidential campaign... or if he/she does they will rarely go into the weeds on them, and definitely NOT risk discussions of race and the Jewish Question in any direct way. Herein lies the problem. For some like myself who wish to straddle the conspiracy sphere of the early 21st century and the newer nationalist movements one will be accused of one thing or another along the way. Still, the older conspiracists fail, in my view, to directly promote ethnostatism directly, and that this constitutes the unravelling of the cultural and ethnic underpinnings of the West in general.

And while, in my view, Icke has turned out to be correct in being sceptical of Trump, he has also always shirked questions of race and direct political solutions and overly simplified revisionist studies of the 2nd World War lest he be accused of racism, Nazism etc. One understands that it will always simply be the cry of the metaphysically unitarian 'non-consent' he offers as solution, and that this is not enough to address with nuance all that is occurring in the West currently.

Another revisionist take on my views regarding certain American poets promoted in the early entries of The Fiend magazine via a piece on American poetry by Philip Lamantia from his book of prose; 'Preserving Fire' (criticising from the the left, while I would criticise from the right). Who is saved from this strange melange of mid-century poets? Very few, unfortunately.

Jack Gilbert was one of the most celebrated poets of late 20th Century America. How many know that he co-wrote erotic books? Or, indeed, books that included bestiality, incest and pedophilia? This time I delve into that dark side, and suggest that there is something very disturbing about the person responsible for these writings.

Caveat Lector! Watching this video back (from a distance of 5 years) you need to know that my initial thoughts on The Protocols’ ramifications for Hitler’s thought is based, itself, on either a faulty translation of Mein Kampf, or a faulty memory of an earlier reading of Mein Kampf, specifically his equating Bolshevism with Christianity. Having read other translations of the book since then I no longer believe this was Hitler’s intent (is it the intent of a very dodgy translator?)

This video was available at youtube but – like the fourth part - was removed for violating their ‘Community Guidelines’ back in the autumn of 2024. I number all my video vlogs intentionally so that if you see there are any gaps you’ll know they’ve been removed against my intention.

Discussion of the romantic poet John Keats's dictum in a letter of 1817 regarding what makes the best poetry, with all kinds of forays into this process's relationship to philosophy, mysticism, 'peak experience', meditation, politics, history and other modern movements in literature.

Companion video to my 'East and West' video regarding Confucius, Confucianism and filial piety. My theory being that the modern Asian inheritance of Confucius is out of balance with nature, and can learn from the west in this way (and conversely we can be more respecting of our elders while retaining our own generational worries and opinions, and ability to vocalise them without reprisal).

The modern inheritance of Confucius (partially a problem of Confucius' teaching - in 'The Analects' - themselves, and other less well-known works) in South Korea, particularly, is distinctly pernicious since it leaves almost nothing for the younger neophyte to create for themselves in order to forge an own distinct identity, socially, politically and philosophically.

A more personal broad-brush video on my time spent living and travelling in Asia, firstly with a visit to India, then some reflections on life in Japan at the turn of the century (1999 - 2001). After two years in London, I then went back to Asia, taking a teaching job in South Korea - and basing myself there - for the following decade and beyond (2003 - 2016).

The name of the Korean music I was particularly enamoured of is 'Pansori'; a form of folk music, usually performed by a female singer, and with a small group of musicians. I also like a lot of Korean drum ensembles.

I will go into more detail on some of the topics mentioned here in later videos.

First full tarot reading on camera. A little bit of info on how I approach the cards, usually beginning with The Trinity... and then the reading proper, including a bunch of 'clarifying cards' beginning from that pull of three I made a couple of days ago. I come to no conclusions about this object, itself; could it be malevolent (a drone, even?)

Notice the mistake in the numerology though. I generally read 11 = Queen, 12 = King, 13 = Knight, and 14 = Page/Princess... but here I make the error of having those last two values reversed (Page/Princess = 13, Knight = 14) so that there are two systems vying with each other somewhat. Meaning; for the first line = 1 (Magician) and 10 (Wheel of Fortune), for the second line the same; 1 (Magician) and 10 (Wheel of Fortune) and the third; 8 (Justice).

In my normal system the values for the first line are the same, with second line as 9 (The Hermit) and the third line 11 (Strength) and 2 (High Priestess).

Totals being (first system) 10 (Wheel of Fortune, repeating the value of the top card) and/or (second, usual system) 3 (The Empress, re-affirming the three lines and the initial trinity)

Survey of Pound's speeches from Rome 1941-43, as they are presented to us in transcript form via 'Ezra Pound Speaking', edited by Leonard Doob, 1978.

The speeches raise a whole number of issues. What is the problem? Money lending and its role in warfare and cultural degradation, past and present. Who creates the problem? 'Rich Jewish bankers', ostensibly, as Pound sees it (and he names names). I see it as a problem of human greed, and that one race MIGHT predominate in it over another, but that it isn't centrally a problem of race. (And a related question would be 'Is there any veracity in 'The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion' in order to prove something of Pound's claim? I will go into this properly in another video). What is the solution? For Pound, Fascism is the solution. I'm not convinced... yet would agree that the problem needs to be approached, discussed etc, and that it goes on into the 21st Century in the form of central banking, and through international finance, without homegrown banks and protectionist policies being put in place en masse (although I suggest a glimmer of hope in certain of Trump's policies, and through the dissolution of the E.U).

One other outlying question exists; does the gold standard inherently guarantee that a given currency be protected from the problem of lending at interest, and the creation of debt? Pound - in the speeches - says 'no...' I say 'possibly', but agree that it's no final guarantee, and would depend on how transparent governments were willing to be in their economic policies, and how educated the average person is to problems of lending at interest. It is what it says on the tin, a 'standard', yet all that ultimately matters is that one uses a standard that all citizens are agreed on throughout any given populous so that debt culture does not expand out of it with lending.
