As some people approach the end of their lives, they begin seeing or describing things that others can’t explain. Strange sightings, unexplained encounters, and unusual words spoken in their final days leave behind questions that may never have answers.

In this episode of Backwoods High Strangeness, we explore the strange things people I knew experienced and the unusual things they said near the end of their lives. Were they seeing something beyond our understanding, experiencing something we can’t explain, or was there another reason behind it all?

A strange red-orange ball of light hangs over a dark rural field as something moves through the corn below. Then come the sounds—strange noises and what sounds like chanting coming from somewhere in the darkness.

But that wasn’t the only unexplained sighting. In this episode, I also tell the story of a huge circular object in the sky that appeared to come crashing down, yet there was no explosion, no fire, and no obvious impact.
