Last week we looked at how the band that is now known as Jefferson Starship had its beginnings. And we finished with possibly one of their most famous tracks from the 70’s Jane. With the 80’s came some big changes, the least of which was their name change to just Starship. In reality Jefferson Starship never really went away, and even today there is still two bands with some of the members from the original lineup reforming Jefferson Starship and Mickey Thomas touring with a band known originally as Mickey Thomas’s Starship. In the first half of the show we look at the music of Starship and then in the second half of the show we chat with the new lead singer of Jefferson Starship - Cathy Richardson.
