winning it.

identity God has already given you in Christ. When the old nature

pull toward who God is calling you to be, that's your signal to 

remind yourself that the old you was crucified with Christ — and a 

dead thing does not get to keep making decisions for a living one.

No matter how long the war within has been raging or how many times 

the wrong side has seemed to be winning right now, take comfort in 

this truth: you are not fighting for victory — you are fighting from 

it. Christ has already won the war. You are just learning to live 

in the victory He secured.
