- Episode 230: ECW Hardcore Heaven 1995
ECW Hardcore Heaven 1995 was gritty, schizo, and a bit sloppy. Not surprising for ECW in '95. It featured the Dudley Brothers' debut, Axl and Ian Rotten in a Taipei Deathmatch, The Sandman facing Cactus Jack for the ECW World Title, and Public Enemy's ECW goodbye. At the end, I'm including some short bonus content from ECW in 1996!
31m - Sep 16, 2026 - Episode 229: Russo Ruins Nitro Part 2
After Vince Russo left WCW (took his ball and went home to cry because he was told "no" about something), he was eventually talked into coming back. This time, he was full-time on screen as an authority figure along with Eric Bischoff. The storylines got dumber. The matches got weirder. Everything got sleazier. And there were TOURNAMENTS GALORE, BRO!
1h 6m - Sep 9, 2026 - Episode 228: Well, That's the Big Show!
Debuting in 1994 and shooting straight to the top, Paul Wight had a meteoric rise in professional wrestling but an overall goofy, bumpy career. Was it successful? Yes. Is he a legend? Yes. But was he also used terribly and the butt of too many jokes? Absolutely. We cover it all and have fun with this look back at the life and times of the Big Show!
51m - Sep 2, 2026 - Episode 227: Russo Ruins Nitro Pt. 1
We're starting a new series about what WCW Monday Nitro looked like under the Vince Russo regime. Part 1 is going to be the nicest we're going to get for ol' Vinny Ru-Ru as we cover his start in 1999, going only by the name "The Powers That Be." It's soooo bad... but trust me... it gets worse!
1h 29m - Aug 26, 2026 - Episode 226: Kane Unmasked!
A sequel to last week's episode, Troy follows up on part 2 of Kane's career. We're starting from Kane's first unmasking and follow "The Big Freakin' Machine's" career up until his Hall of Fame induction.
40m - Aug 19, 2026 - Episode 225: That's Gotta be Kane!
In this never-before-heard audio, the Marks explore the life and career of Kane, from Glenn Jacobs' childhood and early wrestling days to his rise as the Big Red Machine, up to his shocking unmasking in 2003.
42m - Aug 12, 2026 - Episode 224: AAA TripleMania XXVII
Troy is joined by his Texan friend Santiago (RIP) from a blast from the past. AAA TripleMania XXVII delivered shocking betrayals, championship battles, and unforgettable Lucha Libre action. From high-stakes title matches to dramatic twists, this was one of AAA's most memorable nights.
1h 24m - Aug 5, 2026 - Episode 223: WWF Vengeance 2001 Redux
We did it once, but we're doing it again! This time, we've got a new perspective/take on the very first ever Vengeance from 2001, where Chris Jericho became the first ever WWF Undisputed Champion. Once you hear us have some fun picking this one apart and talking about the glory years of wrestling, check out Episode 79, where we get more in-depth with star ratings and the news of the day.
48m - Jul 29, 2026 - Episode 222: WWF SummerSlam 1995
On a hot summer night in 1995, between the absolute turd of King of the Ring '95 and the awesome Survivor Series '95, we got SummerSlam '95. The entire show was garbage except for a halfway decent Casket Match between the Undertaker and Kama, and an amazing Ladder Match where Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon ran back their historic WrestleMania X encounter for the IC Title. Diesel did his best in the main event against King Mabel and almost got paralyzed for it.
46m - Jul 22, 2026 - Episode 221: Dark Side of Headliners, Promotions, Movements, & Lucha
We're venturing back into the dark side of wrestling history! Today, we cover headlining mega stars like Sting, Shawn Michaels, Yokozuna, and the Hardy Boyz. We also go over failed or floundering promotions like TNA, GFW, CZW, and the industry-shaking #SpeakingOut Movement. We wrap it all up with the dark side of lucha libre as we cover Oro, Abismo Negro, La Ola Blanca, and La Dama Del Silencio.
46m - Jul 15, 2026 - Episode 220: WWE Global Plans | R.I.P. Joe Doering | Major Injuries | Shocking Departures & Returns
I've compiled the biggest wrestling news stories for this episode. WWE's global ambitions, AEW and WWE visa issues, major injuries, heartbreaking losses, surprise departures, and the mysterious absences of EC3 and Jack Perry, I'm breaking it all down.
19m - Jul 8, 2026 - Episode 219: R.I.P. Ted Turner | WWE Cost Cutting | AEW's TV Future
Ted Turner, who founded CNN and owned WCW for over a decade, passed away. TKO Group Holdings (and by extension, WWE) are cutting costs and requesting talent take pay cuts or pink slips. Is AEW's TV future in jeopardy? We've also got lawfare south of the border.
45m - May 8, 2026 - Episode 218: WWE WrestleMania 42
With WrestleMania 42 now in the books, I'm going to run down all the good, the bad, and the in-between. The build to the show was whacky, some of the matches were odd, night 1 was so-so, and night 2 ended pretty divisively.
56m - Apr 22, 2026 - Episode 217: WWE WrestleMania 25 (The 24th* Anniversary of WrestleMania)
Despite being called the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania, WrestleMania 25 was not that. Nor was it a great show. From men winning divas battle royals, to Kid Rock getting way too much screen time, to John Cena being jackhammered into an Edge and Big Show feud, to the blood feud between Triple H and Randy Orton being neutered by a stipulation, this show was not great. However, there were some high points, especially when it came to Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels.
52m - Apr 8, 2026 - Episode 216: WWF WrestleMania XV
Weird gimmicks, multi-people matches, nonsensical feuds, BS finishes, and ignoring the rules. That and so much more is what you can expect from WWF WrestleMania XV, which took place in 1999 in the home of ECW, Philadelphia!
1h 0m - Apr 1, 2026 - Episode 215: WWF WrestleMania 1
It was the massive event that started it all! Was it the greatest wrestling event of all time? Not by a longshot. But WrestleMania 1 is near and dear to many wrestling fans, and it launched Vince McMahon's WWF empire into superstardom! Troy & Greg break it all down, match-by-match, segment-by-segment, and run down their opinions on this historic show.
1h 2m - Mar 25, 2026 - Episode 214: WCW Uncensored 1996
We've covered, in two different ways, WCW's inaugural Uncensored event from 1995. Now, we move on to 1996, where The Mega Powers take on The Alliance to End Hulkamania (real name) in a 3-tier cage match. This event has 2-on-8, 3-story cage matches, the Booty Man, battling Hispanics for the US Title, feuding Europeans, giants clashing, a disastrous Chicago Street Fight, and more! My God, this was a beautiful mess.
38m - Mar 18, 2026 - Episode 213: ECW Extreme Review 1994 & 1997
In 1994, Extreme Championship Wrestling put on their infamous The Night the Line was Crossed show from the ECW Arena. In 1997, their historic Hardcore Heaven event took place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Today, Greg and I are reviewing them both and having fun trying to figure out WTF is even going on!
1h 10m - Mar 11, 2026 - Episode 212: WCW Uncensored 1995 (Redux)
We've reviewed this show once before, more in-depth, in episode 144. This was actually our first attempt at covering this abomination. We were more brief and concentrated more on the insanity of everything, having a ton of fun in the process.
37m - Mar 4, 2026 - Episode 211: Dark Side of WCW & NWA Downfalls + Royal Rumble 2026
The 2026 Royal Rumble just took place in Saudi Arabia. There isn't much to say about it. It was a fairly boring affair, as Rumbles go. But we'll discuss. Also, I'm bringing you the Dark Side of the downfalls of both WCW (in stages) and the NWA (also in stages).
30m - Feb 4, 2026
