Episode #9: Back to the Moon and Beyond - Prof. Philipp Reiss on ISRU

In this episode, we explore the depths of lunar and

planetary exploration with Professor Philipp Reiss. What is the role of private

entities, such as SpaceX and Blue Origin, in this new race to the Moon? What

exactly is In-Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU)? Find out about its pivotal role

in space missions and planetary exploration. The lunar terrain's resources

offer a multitude of possibilities to allow humans to colonize the Moon. This

will not only help science to understand the Moon, but reveal secrets about the

solar system. We also address the regulatory landscape surrounding lunar

activities and the crucial measures for planetary protection during ISRU

operations. Find out how the Moon works!
