Marcus: It’s time for the Speak Your Mind Travel Vlog. I’m Marcus and I’m with Jill, and today we’re all packed for vacation. You ready?
Jill: I don’t know. I’m not sure we should go. I know you want to see all the big cultural attractions, but it’s so crowded … and don’t you think that so much tourism is bad?
Marcus: Oh, come on. Tourism is good for the economy. People make good money from hotels, restaurants, tours. We’re doing a good thing.
Jill: But maybe too much good. Too much tourism is bad for the environment. Plus, most tourists don’t even know anything about the places they visit. They just take a selfie in front of something famous and move on.
Marcus: So, are you really going to stay home? You’re missing out on such a good thing.
Jill: All right, I’ll go. But we’re going to visit a place that most tourists don’t go. OK?
Marcus: Sounds good. What do you think? Is tourism good or bad?
