  • Power of Intention with Elena Tuskenis, MD

Most of us are familiar with the concept of intention, but I think that many of us aren’t aware of all of the things we can do with intention. In this conversation, I talk with Elena Tuskenis all about the power of intention. With this practice, especially when we do it together, we can make some pretty remarkable changes in our lives, and in the world. We’ll detail the ins and outs of this and share how we are sharing this magic at Free Range.

  • Hypnotherapy 101 with Liz Burkholder, PMHNP, FNP

Hypnotherapy is one of those things that I originally didn’t give much credit to. However, I've since learned how powerful it is. In hypnotherapy, we can find a safe container to process the roots of our issues and anchor in new beliefs that better serve us. It’s about getting to the core and addressing what lies there. We can learn all the coping skills we want, but if we don’t address the part of ourselves that holds this belief, and discover that there is a different way, we won’t find true growth.

  • Healing the Body with Spirit with Dr. Brandon Yuenger, PT, DPT, CIDN

We are truly spiritual beings in a physical body. Many of our modalities that focus only on our physical form fall short of true healing. In this second part of my conversation with Dr. Brandon Yuenger, we chat about his explorations into shamanic teachings and how they transformed his life and his practice.

  • Discovering Integrative Physical Therapy with Dr. Brandon Yuenger, PT, DPT, CIDN

I was immediately intrigued when I learned that integrative physical therapy was a thing. When Brandon and I sat down to record this podcast, I asked him to tell his story, but I wasn’t expecting that the tales of his personal health journey and professional growth would intertwine to reveal exactly what integrative physical therapy is all about. This episode is delightfully nerdy, curious, and oh so fun to listen to.

  • Healing in a Broken System with Dr. Z

This podcast is about soul healing, and so much of the time this involves healers. I would be remiss if I didn't discuss how these healers got where they are. In this conversation with Dr. Z, we talk about her journey to and through medical school, and her eventual decision to leave the system altogether. Her story brings up so many interesting points and ideas, but most of all I think it really showcases what it means to try to heal, both oneself and those seeking help, within a system that is so broken.

  • Anxiety is a Calling, part 2 with Dr. Jennifer Giordano

This is the second part of a very not-average anxiety podcast. First, be sure you listen to part 1 before checking this out! I promise it'll make a lot more sense that way. Well, as much as any of this makes sense. In this conversation, Dr. G and I explore the question: What is it like to experience anxiety as a calling? We share thoughts and stories and, per usual, no answers at all.

This is not your average anxiety podcast. We don’t have the answers, and we aren’t going to tell you how to be less anxious. Instead, you’ll hear Dr. Giordano and I talk about our own honest, authentic, and human explorations into this topic. We’ll share experiences and observations, and talk about what they might mean. Everyone has their own unique experience of anxiety. As we say, none of it makes sense anyway. You can take what fits and leave what doesn’t.

In this first episode of Dani Talks, I share some of my thoughts on space. Not outer space, but space as a concept. It gives us a way to think about how and where things do and don't exist in our lives, how this impacts us, and our ability to control it. My experiences in letting go and creating space serve as a base for this conversation. I find these musings to be profound yet relatable, and I hope you find the same.

Jenna Mamorsky, LPC, and I dive into a topic I’ve been dying to explore more for a long, LONG, time: Polyvagal Theory.
