Talking CanCon, CSHF 2026 & Red Carpet Energy with Brady Cullen

On this episode, Brady and I dive headfirst into all the magic, music, and red-carpet moments from the 2026 Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony. From first-time carpet jitters to champagne toasts with Canadian rock royalty, we’re covering it all.

In this episode, we cover:

• CSHF 2026 Breakdown: Comparing notes from our very first red carpet experience, picking our stand-out tribute sets, and discussing the historical weight of the evening.
• Why CanCon Matters: The importance of Canada actively backing the artists and songs that define its cultural identity.
• The Rush Toronto Side Quest: The story behind my manifesting the chance to catch Rush live in Toronto this past August.
• After-Party Chronicles: Brady shares a hilarious post-ceremony story featuring Rob Baker and a well-timed champagne toast.
• GEDFest 2026 Focus: Where things stand with GEDFest right now and why it's consuming my entire brain space.
• Live Music & The Buffalo-Canada Connection: Recent gig recaps, upcoming show dates on Brady’s calendar, and why the Buffalo/Canada bond runs so deep.
