- Bright Side with Dr. Nikita Agarwal
I’m Dr. Nikita Agarwal, a Prosthodontist and Oral Implantologist, and the Founder and Chief Dentist at Studio Dentale. In the first episode of Bright Side, I sit down with Dr. Alok Sagtani, an experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, for a clinically grounded conversation on oral surgery, prosthodontic planning, and modern dentistry.
As a prosthodontist, my work goes beyond individual procedures it focuses on comprehensive treatment planning, long-term function, aesthetics, and predictability. Having managed complex restorative and implant cases and led a multidisciplinary clinical team, I approach dentistry through the lens of judgment, sequencing, and responsibility, not shortcuts.
In this episode, we discuss how decisions around tooth extractions and oral surgery are made within a broader restorative plan, and why interdisciplinary collaboration between prosthodontists and oral surgeons is critical for safe, stable, and long-term outcomes.
In this episode, we cover:
- The prosthodontic perspective on tooth extractions and oral surgery
- How surgical decisions impact long-term restorative and implant outcomes
- Common dental myths vs clinical realities patients should understand
- Digital diagnostics, case sequencing, and risk assessment in modern dentistry
- Real clinical experiences, challenges, and lessons from running an advanced dental practice
- What patients should know before undergoing complex dental treatment or dental tourism in Nepal.
This episode is designed for:
✔ Patients seeking high-standard, ethical dental care in Nepal
