In this episode, I have the pleasure of welcoming Veronika Skye. Veronika, a lifelong mathematician and educator, believes "being bad at maths" is a myth. Her "yes, you can" approach has empowered countless students of all ages and abilities — in Scotland, where she lives, and across Britain, Europe, and beyond. Through a fun and friendly approach, Veronika shows that maths is approachable and practical and opens doors for everyone. She empowers individuals to embrace maths for career choices, daily life, and intellectual growth, ultimately demonstrating that "yes, they also can." We discuss how mathematics manifests in the world, including how we can use mathematically-adjacent logic, and whether mathematics describes or explains ― or both.

In this episode, I welcome my guest Gaëlle Weigel. Gaëlle's mission is to help as many people as possible unlearn shame, reclaim the magic within, and remember that they are — and have always been — perfect, just as they are. Through energy healing, coaching, and sacred writing, she creates pathways of healing that reconnect people with their body, their roots, and their truth. Just like the people she supports, she has experienced abuse. She has felt ashamed, worthless, and searched for love everywhere — even in the most desperate places. She knows what it is to feel wrong at your core, to flee your own body, to hate what makes you who you are, to belong nowhere fully. She is now guiding others through the same terrain she walked. Her work is both invitation and initiation, a pathway to reconnect with the immense power that has always been ours. She was born in Cameroon, grew up in France, and currently lives in the Netherlands. In this episode, we explore Gaëlle's perspective on how our souls make choices when they enter this life, and the philosophical bases of believing in a greater power.

In this episode, I had the pleasure of welcoming Lauren O'Carroll from the United Kingdom. Lauren is a neurodivergent family specialist, speaker, founder of Positively Parenting, and author of the forthcoming book "You're Not a Shit Parent, You Have ADHD". After spending 10 years managing advocacy services and a further 10 years leading N.H.S. services, she left her leadership career to support parents navigating the realities of neurodivergent family life.

Drawing on specialist training in A.D.H.D., autism, and peaceful parenting, over 20 years of leadership experience, the latest evidence and neuroscience, and lived experience as a mum with A.D.H.D. raising neurodivergent children, Lauren helps families move beyond guilt, overwhelm, and survival mode, towards greater understanding, connection, and practical solutions that work in everyday life. She is passionate about challenging shame, making the science of neurodivergence accessible, and helping parents realise they were never meant to do this alone.

In this episode, we explored the nuances of our culture and perception of neurodiversity, pondering whether being "normal" actually has any utility, whether characteristics such as neurodiversity constitute our identity, whether autism and A.D.H.D. are mental illnesses, and more.

  • Tarot is not what you think! With Christian Kenny

I thank The Love Life Counsellor for their partnership. Find them here: www.thelovelifecounsellor.com.au

In this episode, I welcome Christian Kenny. We discuss the psychology and phenomenology of tarot ― and even if you are a sceptic as I am, you are likely to gain some new insight in to it with this discussion!

Christian Kenny is the founder and creative force behind Courage Over Comfort Co., a multidisciplinary company built at the intersection of psychology, storytelling, technology, art, education, and social change.

Rather than limiting himself to a single industry or discipline, Christian has spent years developing the rare ability to connect ideas that most people would never think to combine. His background spans tarot, astrology, business leadership, psychological research, publishing, product development, branding, game creation, investigative technology, media, and large-scale creative direction.

Christian approaches every project as both an artist and a strategist. He studies human behavior, social conditioning, symbolism, fear, morality, trauma, and the hidden psychological forces that influence how people think and act. He then transforms those complex ideas into books, games, tarot systems, software, visual media, educational tools, and immersive experiences that challenge audiences to confront uncomfortable truths.

His work is not created simply to entertain. It is designed to provoke thought, expose hypocrisy, encourage self-examination, and create measurable social impact. Through Courage Over Comfort Co., Christian develops original intellectual properties that confront difficult subjects others are often too afraid, uncomfortable, or unimaginative to approach.

What separates Christian is not simply the number of skills he possesses, but his ability to combine them into entirely new concepts. He does not follow existing categories; he creates new ones. Every project is built from extensive research, psychological insight, creative risk, and the belief that meaningful change begins when people are willing to question what they have been taught.

Christian Kenny is more than a founder, artist, or entrepreneur. He is a systems thinker, cultural provocateur, inventor, storyteller, and multidisciplinary creator whose work is driven by one central purpose: to use creativity as a force for courage, consciousness, and social transformation.

In this episode, I had the pleasure of collaborating with Valerie Flynn. Valerie is an author, podcaster, and learner. She is a contributing author to the “Writers Of Meaning” book, and the host of the Nara Fellowship and Writers Of Meaning podcasts. Professionally, Valerie worked in film, video, and radio as a production manager and producer for over 30 years with her father and brother. Some of the media projects to which she contributed were with Hanna-Barbera, Putnam Berkley, and Turner Entertainment. LionHawk Entertainment is her production company, for which she records digital legacy keepsakes for her clients and their loved ones.

Here, we discuss the epistemology of religion. We explore how religion and science can co-exist, how religion provides us a basis to establish truth, and the possible caveats of assuming that truth must come from an established source.
