The word “doxxed” is a common term in the crypto world used to describe an individual or group whose identity is known/public. In the web3 space doxxed creators/developers are a rarity, outnumbered by countless “anons” releasing projects every single day. Some creators decide to conceal their identities for security/privacy reasons - after all, even the creator(s) of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, was anonymous; but far too many have taken up the cloak of anonymity in order to steal their investors’ money (i.e. “Rug”) and evade repercussions.
